The Walking Elk is a Human Powered shuttle bus working as a temporary bar specially for events. It's a collaboration project with Alce Nero, an Italian Organic Food Manufacturer and PALM, an Italian Pallet Company. The aim was to simultaneously create something out of used Pallets and to enhance the Alce Nero Brand -- the whole structure of The Walking Elk is made of used pallets.
What if events involving shuttle busses replaced their vehicles with a human powered bus, where the passengers could enjoy a cup of espresso by Alce Nero? The Walking Elk replaces a fuel-based machine with a human- powered machine, forming a win-win situation in which Alce Nero gains brand recognition using the advantage of an event where people from different places gather around interacting amongst each other.
